Memberships

All athletes in the Alberta Powerlifting Union must hold a valid membership card to compete.  Membership cards are valid from the purchase date for 1 year.  Prices for membership cards are as follows:

Open Membership - $100


  • Valid for all athletes over the age of 23

Junior Membership - $80

  • Valid for all Junior-aged athletes (19-23)

Special Membership - $65

  • Valid for Sub-Junior athletes (14-18), high school athletes, blind athletes of any age, Special Olympics athletes of any age, and Alberta Powerlifting Union honorary members.

MANDATORY athlete requirement 

In order to participate in APU/CPU Sanctioned events all athletes are required to complete the CCES True Sport Clean online education model.    Please go to the following URL and follow the instructions found there:
