Athlete Responsibility:  Results from any meet in Alberta will be checked for new records, as well as CPU Nationals, Western Canadians, or any International-level contest, including a World Championship.  However, if one is missed or you go to a local meet in another province and do an Alberta record, please inform Jeannie Jamison and she will correct it.

National  Record  Information :

If a Provincial Record is also a National Record, then the athlete must follow the Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) record policy.  Under CPU rules, all lifters who break a National Record in a contest that allows such records to be broken such as, Provincial Championships, Western/Eastern Championships, National Championships, and International caliber contests must apply for the record online. National Records must be applied for within 7 days of the end of the qualifying event using the link below.

If you do not see your record updated within 2 weeks, contact the CPU records chairmen for further information or clarification.
